Mischa Barton who was born in Hammersmith England United Kingdom on the 24th of January, 1986 is one of the most renowned and wealthy TV actresses. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In The Sixth Sense a film filled with suspense, she starred. The O.C. that she was a part of was a cult TV series. The O.C. was a huge hit TV series in which she played alongside. Benjamin McKenzie, her lover. Benjamin McKenzie played her romantic interest. Barton was first seen on TV in 1993 playing Corvina Lan, in flashbacks of The All My Children soap opera. Then, in the year 1996 she replaced Michelle Trachtenberg's part as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer appeared in eight episodes as Jessie's Evan Rachel Wood's, lover on The Once and Again television show. In 2001, she made her return to film and appeared on screen in Lost and Delirious by Susan Swan. Barton together with co stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo received mixed reviews. Julie Johnson (2001), with Lili Tayet and Courtney Love, saw her portraying the role of a daughter who is in a relationship with a lesbian woman. Barton also played an important role in the film alongside Brad Renfro (2001) and Dominique Swain in the independent teenage drama Tart. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. Romanians were thrilled to welcome her home as heroes. Four years later in the 1980 Olympics Comaneci earned two more gold medals and two silver to bring the Olympic total to 9 gold medals. In 1996 Comaneci was a member of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and in 1999 she was recognized with a special award from ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of 100 of the most Important women in the 20th Century. In April 1996 Comaneci got married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner and they have a son, Dylan Paul. They own various business ventures that are related to gymnastics. One of them is The Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci is involved with a variety of charitable organizations, including Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association (SIMD) and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In addition, she continues to help a variety of charitable organizations in her homeland of Romania such as the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
