Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She took the next match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks in a unanimous decision. Her UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through her ground and pound tactics and earned an TKO second round victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
