Her conception took place on March 29, 1985, in Roswell located in the state of New Mexico. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson has Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her heritage is Mexican-American as well as an American through citizenship. Since she was a child, she's been very interested in participating in sport. Gerina started playing golf when she was 15. Gerina completed her high school education in Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school, she had won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player who competed on the level of state. 2003was the year she started studying at The University of Texas. As a senior, she won each tournament which she participated in. In the course of her undergraduate studies she won the titles of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
