The actress was featured in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. The actress is known for her role as Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy in the Dawson's Creek series. As a character on the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar was Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award from the Soap Opera Digest magazine in 2003 as Outstanding newcomer. Dollar was on screen as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until the year 2008 on the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club. She also portrayed Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC pilot, but it didn't get picked up.
